En Britisk succes historie, Paul Smith, en mand der har formået at være på forkant i modeverden med hans smarte og individuelle stil i årevis.
Født i Nottingham i 1946, startede i en tøjbutik da han var 18 år, i 1964, og åbnede sin egen butik i 1970.
Han gik på aftenskole for at lære skrædderfaget og for at udvikle sin egen unikke stil der senere hen skulle gøre ham til en af de mest kendte og succesfulde designere i den Britiske modehistorie.
I 1976 fremstillede han sin første kollektion i Paris og er i dag en hyppig designer ved de store modeshows, han har også designet ure, tilbehør og selvfølge parfumer.
